Testing my cam\guitar setup!!

I've just been doing some test demo's so I can get my youtube recordings setup properly.

I've done 2 vids of the same song to test both mics.

If people could let me know which one they think sounds better (quality wise, not my playing, I fucked up a few times lol) I'd appreciate it.

I noticed I keep on pulling really weird expressions for some reason.

Fuck. What a spaz.

I was trying to figure out which mic to use for my recordings. Alot of it is about placing the mic to get the sweet spot, which i was too lazy to do properly. I just bunged them up quick and recorded them both.

See if anyone else notices much difference.

ya i dont notice a difference either. both sound good

I guess it makes it easier cos it doesn't matter which one I use.

My cam is a real bitch though. I keep on changing settings on it and it changes them back. Doing my head in.

Don't worry about the faces pete. Looks like your reading the music. The second one meaning the bottom one.

I could hear more range but it mite just be a gain thing. Cause i could hear more string strokes aswell as hiss.

If your that bothered try some sound filters like high pass.

btw very impressed mate takes time to learn no doubt.

I've been trying to get the gear setup good for it. My cam is a pain though.

I think I need to mess with the mic positioning a bit more too.

the second one sounds best for me the first i can hear a bit ov a hissing noise Smile

idk m8 there wasn't a real big difference except the bottom one seemed softer but besides that amazing job i be jealous
